Productive Time

The LCE is working in collaboration with the Employers’ Organisation (EO), IDeA and CLG on the productive time workstream of the efficiency review.

The productive time improvement agenda is about maximising the “time spent by public service professionals on core activities i.e. activities that are integral to the delivery of improved frontline services” (Productive Time Measurement Guidance, Office of Government Commerce, 2004).
