Tools: Case Studies


Between September 2007 and May 2008 the GVA Grimley SPC team visited eight of the capitals 32 London Boroughs. These trips involved interviews, inspections and analysis of workplace transformation projects, both past and present.

Some of these projects were in their conceptual stage whilst others were implementing projects or involved in post occupancy review. Although every workplace transformation project is unique, it is our belief that the best way to learn is from the experience of others.

Use the case studies to understand how workplace transformation projects can differ between councils. They can be used to highlight success and failures. It is this type of information sharing and collaboration that has historically slowed.
