Training Needs Analysis
The project commissioned a study by Action Sustainability to analyse training needs specific to sustainable procurement. A clear need for training to a diverse audience was reported. The recommendations will now be considered by the Project Board. The report recommendations included:
- 3 levels of training courses: an introductory training course; the London Met course; and an advanced level.
- Further examples of successful approaches.
- Encourage infomration sharing and networking of attendees to an advanced course.
- Act as a central hib of information
- Cascade the SPTF definition of sustainable procurement and building blocks (Flexible Framework & Prioritisation Methodology)
