Below are the links to toolkits that have been developed to help you make your procurement processes more sustainable. 

LCE Sustainable Furniture Disposal Toolkit
This toolkit provides step by step guidance on how to dispose office furniture in a more sustainable manner.
It incluses specifications, tender evaluation criteria and key performance indicators which can be used for similar contracts.

LCE Sustainable Highways Tendering Toolkit
This toolkit is designed to assist users in the procurement of more sustainable Minor Highways Service.  It will also prove useful for any highways contract.

LCE Meals on Wheels Sustainable Procurement
Led by the LB Camden the toolkit aims to improve the sustainability of the tendering process in a comprehensive manner. The toolkit focus' on the environmental impacts associated with the production, delivery and consumption of food which can be adapted to any catering contract for the public sector.

Forum For the Future Sustainable Toolkit
This simple spreadsheet based toolkit is designed to provide buyers with a complete evaluation of sustainability issues in order to prioritise and assess opportunities for improving sustainability through the procurement process. It has been successfully used for practical training by several public sector organisation.

SPTF Prioritisation Methodology
Approach based on assessing risk, scope to do more and procurer influence to achieve prioritisation of areas of public sector spend.

Ky behavioural and opearational change programmes that need to be delivered in wach public sector organisation to deliver sustainable procurement.

Action Sustainability Flexible Framework Toolkit
A pilot-benchmarking tool to help you to understand how your supply chain compares to the good practice recommended by the Sustainable Procurement Task Force.

LEAP Toolkit
Provides a range of tools developed as part of the EU funded Local Authority Environmental Management Systems and Procurement project. Tools provided include specifications, including environmental criteria into tenders and evaluating, and integrating green procurement in EMS.

PSFPI
The Public Sector Food Procurement Initiative (PSFPI) offers purchasers and suppliers guidance and advice including model specifications, case studies and contacts.  PSFPI objectives include: increasing opportunities for small and local producers; raising standards of production; addressing barriers to supply; increasing the consumption of healthy food; reducing environmental impacts; promoting fairly traded goods; and improving choice for ethnic minorities.

WRAP's Recycled Content in Construction
This evaluation tool developed by the Waste and Resources Action Programme for recycled content in construction projects helps to determine the percentage of recycled content in a new building and can identify the ten largest opportunities to increase the overall use of recycled material in the building.

City of Stockholm's Life Cycle Guidance 
Provides calculation methods to compare total costs for goods or services procured.  Examples are provided to clarify how to use the calculation methods.

LM3
A calculation method to determine your organisation's financial value to its community.  Used by Local Authorities in the North East to demonstrate community benefits of sustainable procurement and regeneration. Access is free to not for profit organisations.

EMAS Toolkit
Provides a structure like the Plan-Do-Check-Act management cycle to help develop and implement an environmental management system according to EN ISO 14001, specifically designed for small organisations.

LB Lewisham Guide to Green Procurement
A guide to a range of local authority service (9) and commodity (12) contract's environmental impacts, relevant eco-labels, environmental preference selection and cost implications.
