About the Project

This project was led by the London Borough of Camden to develop and deliver practical assistance in the context of 3 specific procurement exercises with London authority contracts over from 2006-2008. Delivery of the project is now complete.

Toolkits for implementing sustainable procurement were developed and tested.  In order to avoid duplication, existing methods and approaches were taken into consideration.

As well as contributions from the Project Board and the Steering Group, the project benefited from the participation of Local Authorities in working groups for the contracts, which proved essential to the projects success.

A proposal for a further project is in development and will be put to the London Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership during 2008.
