e-Government National Awards

The London Centre of Excellence was highly commended at the prestigious e-Government National Awards 2007, for its joint bid with the Office of Government Commerce - an innovative IT hardware e-auction.  

Ten London boroughs took part in the e-auction, saving a total of £3.8m.

The LCE's Partnerships in Parking project, led by City of Westminster, was also shortlisted for its 'parking payment by mobile' scheme.
