New website and information packs for ProClass

The latest information and interactive forums on the local government-owned procurement classification standard - ProClass - are available by logging on to a new website: http://proclass.nationaliep.gov.uk

Collaborative working is a proven way of finding more cashable savings. However, it is important to have good quality, easily accessible and accurate third-party expenditure information, which can be compared with others on a like-for-like basis.

ProClass can help achieve this, whether you are building a business case, identifying opportunities for joint contracting, or working to shape markets. 

Hard copies of ProClass packs are available and training and education workshops are being held across the country. For more details, contact jon.hanlon@londoncouncils.gov.uk The packs include:

• A description of the half-day training workshop

The pack also contains a CD, which includes:

• A presentation on ProClass, with notes for speakers
• A guide to proposing amendments and additions
