A Supplier Accreditation Strategy for Procurement

Supplier accreditation is usually thought of as an essential part of the procurement process. But many are now questioning this view and looking at both the cost to suppliers and boroughs themselves. In some areas, it is quite often the case that suppliers are accredited by more than one borough and one agency.

Following on from the review of LB Hammersmith & Fulham’s Avalon Accreditation System, this document looks at the whole accreditation process and suggests that it needs to be far more streamlined and targeted.
